A moving autobiographical first film
A 25-minute docu-drama based on the letters the filmmaker, Andrée Cazabon, received from her father while she was addicted and on the streets at age 13-14.
Filmed on 16mm color film for CBC it was nominated for 'Best Cinematography' at the Canadian Society of Cinematographers for Cinematographer, Joan Hutton, CSC.
Featured on CTV - Canada AM, City-TV, the Globe & Mail, the Toronto Start, the Ottawa Citizen, the Eccentris Theatre in Montreal and numerous conferences and community events.
The film and its guide is widely used amongst students, parents and professionals in Canada and the U.S.
Funded by the CBC, Rotary Clubs, the Toronto Rotary Club Foundation, the G.H. Woods Foundation, the Tippet Foundation and the National Film Board of Canada.
